The Grand Carnival Parade is the main highlight of Paphos Carnival 2026. On this day, the city centre turns into a colourful festive stage as decorated floats, costumed groups, dance schools, majorettes and local organisations march through the streets.
The parade is accompanied by music, live performances and entertainment, creating a lively atmosphere for families, children and visitors of all ages. Spectators gather along Griva Digeni Avenue to watch the procession and enjoy the celebrations.
The event is open to the public and free for everyone. The parade usually lasts around 1.5 to 2 hours and is considered the biggest and most popular day of the carnival season in Paphos.
