Peyia
Pegeia is one of the most scenic areas of Paphos, located on the western coast of Cyprus, about 15–25 km from the city centre. The region includes both coastal zones and mountain villages such as Coral Bay, Agios Georgios, Kathikas, Akoursos, and Ineia.
Pegeia is famous for its natural beauty, peaceful atmosphere and variety of beaches — from organised areas with cafés and water sports to wild, untouched coves near the Akamas Peninsula. Among its best-known beaches are Coral Bay, White River Beach, Agios Georgios Harbour Beach, Toxeftra Beach, and Lara Beach.
At the heart of the area lies Pegeia village, perched on a hill with stunning sea views. It retains traditional Cypriot charm, with taverns, cafés and the Church of Saint George. The surrounding area offers wineries, scenic roads and access to the Akamas nature reserve.
Pegeia is ideal for travellers seeking tranquillity, authentic experiences and proximity to the sea — a perfect combination of nature, culture and coastal living in Cyprus.
