Agios Dimitrianos
Ayios Dimitrianos is a small traditional village in the Paphos district, located about 12 km west of Pano Panagia. Built at an elevation of approximately 550 metres, the village lies among gentle hills and numerous vineyards. Around 70 residents live here, preserving the authentic character of the settlement with stone-built houses, wooden doors, balconies and narrow lanes.
History
The village is named after the Church of Saint Dimitrianos, dedicated to the saint who gives the settlement its identity. The church remains the spiritual and historical centre of the local community.
